On the afternoon of June 22, 2026, the College of Economics, Technology and Fisheries warmly welcomed and held a working session with the delegation from Guangxi Secondary Vocational School of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry (China), along with representatives from the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University.

The meeting was conducted in a formal, open, and friendly atmosphere, with the participation of the College’s Board of Directors, leaders of departments, faculties, centers, and specialized units. The visiting delegation was led by Mr. Mo YouDong, Vice Principal of Guangxi Secondary Vocational School of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry. Representatives from the Confucius Institute included Mr. Dam Vinh Hoa, Vice Director, and accompanying staff.
At the beginning of the program, the delegation toured the College’s facilities, including classrooms, practical training rooms, and specialized training areas. Through the visit, the guests gained an overview of the College’s training capacity, infrastructure, and development orientation in the coming years.
During the working session, Dr. Bui Thi Hanh, President of the College, delivered a welcome speech and expressed her pleasure in receiving the international delegation. She emphasized that expanding international cooperation is one of the College’s key strategic missions to improve the quality of education, scientific research, and to create more learning and internship opportunities for students.
Both sides introduced their organizational models, training strengths, and development orientations, while engaging in in-depth discussions on potential cooperation in the future. Key areas of interest included educational partnerships, exchange programs for lecturers and students, scientific research collaboration, and opportunities for students to study abroad in China.
The participation of the Confucius Institute at Hanoi University also contributed to strengthening the connection in language, culture, and education between Vietnam and China, laying a favorable foundation for long-term international cooperation programs.
The meeting concluded successfully in a spirit of cooperation and development, opening up promising opportunities in education and research. This event marks an important milestone in affirming the College’s position and its strategy for international integration in the new stage of development.
